Rev. Benjamin Wolf, Pastor
Pastor Ben has served as pastor of Trinity since January 2023. Before that he served churches in Alamance County, Fayetteville, and Avon, NC. He grew up near Castalia, NC (“the place to be on the Fourth of July!”) and is passionate about helping loving churches share that love with the community. Michelle Freeman, Administrative Assistant

Sara Spalding, Music Director
Sara lived in New York State and Austin, Texas, before moving to New Bern with her husband in 1998. They have two children. She worked in historic resources management and museums for 10 years before becoming a public school teacher in 2005. She currently works in the Craven County Schools Family Literacy program. She has been active in music performance since college and trained in voice and piano in the Austin Chamber Music Center and at the University of Texas. She has provided music, as an accompanist and director, at several eastern NC churches before coming to Trinity in April 2023.
Rev. Joe Motley, Accompanist
Born 1940 in Columbus, GA, Joe quit high school as soon as he was old enough and joined the United States Air Force, serving from 1958-1962. The Air Force sent him to Syracuse University 1958-59 for language study. After the service, Joe attended Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory for BA in English (1965); East Carolina University for MA in Special ED (1972); Emory University in Atlanta, the Candler School of Theology, MDiv in 1991 where Joe served student appointments in North Georgia (1988-92). In the NC Conference, he served appointments in Bladen County, Morehead City, and Vanceboro. Joe retired from full time service in 2005, where he was able to help his bride with her business on Middle Street in New Bern, while serving as a part-time pastor at Bridgeton UMC 2005-2012.
